Slowly but surely

Well here we go with another blog. I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and are geared up for the new year, I know I am. As

we move into 2024 I believe I need to really stay after myself to stay motivated and put more time and effort into my business,

slacked way too much lately. I have always had a problem with the “can’t” attitude because it was always easier to just pull a check.

I spent the last 27 years working outside everyday to being in a shop maintaining 30+ vehicles with no help for the last 7 years. The company just keeps getting bigger , their prices go up the wages don’t move , and it has become a very toxic environment to work in. Needless to say this is not my cup of tea. I have always been a people person and would do anything for anybody but this environment has made me a jaded, a bit of a recluse. No one should have to go through life like that so when I came across Dean Hollands program and did a little research I knew I found what I wanted to do. Now I can get back to the person I am , hard working ,generous, and compassionate towards others.  So many people chase the almighty dollar just to have all the best things trying to be happy and it doesn’t always work out. For me I truly am the happiest when I can help others so this is I need to bear down and make this thing work, and there is no doubt I will so check back in and see the progress. Don’t get me wrong I would like the financial freedom as well haha . Happy Trails

  1. Jon,

I know from experience that it can be tough working in a toxic environment. I’ve been there, done that and got the t-shirt. However, I found my work love and it is online marketing. like you I’m working on transitioning from my 9 to 5 full time online marketing.

I know there are others in the group that are going through the same thing. Hang in there and use the community for support, after all we’re all in this together.

    I believe in you!!

  2. Congrats for finding what you wanted to do. Just keep moving forward one step at a time and I’m sure you will find success soon. Happy New Year! Wish you lots of success in 2024.

  3. Thanks Jon.
I was spending my holiday time with family, but also planning my next year as an affiliate marketer.
It is fair to say, that is only the 3rd of January, and I am already behind 🙂
I think Zig Ziglar once said something like, if you help enough people get what they want you will get what you want. So you are on the right path.
    Keep going.

  4. I’ve been working on the mantra, “I Am Enough” which extends to “this moment is enough, you are enough, what I am contributing to the world of online success, is enough.” That way, I am kinder to myself and not rushing forward mindlessly in pursuit of something I may or may not have.

    Here’s to a wonderful 2024!!

  5. Hi Jon,
Thanks for being open about your situation. I can relate as I had to resign from my 9-5 because I was getting really sick from the stress and toxic work place. It can change a person! Power to you! Look forward to reading as you progress and succeed. All the best!

  6. Hey Jon,

It’s true, after working at a job for decades and in bad environments, we get a little jaded after a while. Its the same reason why I’m here fighting the battle as well. 2024 its just starting. Let make this happen. Lets achieve some success together. Wish you the best

  7. Jon, you are in the drivers seat now (pun intended). What vehicles did you work on? I love cars and have an instagram channel of shows I visit etc. https://www.instagram.com/carpprecination/?next=%2Fatifperwiz%2F
take a look if you want. Anyway, this year you will work on your business and be your boss and do what you need to do. Working for others is hard and I wish I had done this earlier. I wish you the best and look forward to following your journey. Thanks, Atif

    1. Atif I grew up in my brothers shop, I started out sweeping and washing parts and worked my way up. So between the shop and the ranch I’ve worked on anything from a lawn mower to semi trucks. Right now I work for a plumbing company that has 30 vans and I’m the sole mechanic so I stay plenty busy .Thanks for commenting and the instagram channel I’ll check that out right now.
